Sprayberry High School PTSA

Accident Avoidance Workshop Coming to Sprayberry!

Did you know? 25% of teens will crash a car before they are 17 and 50% before they are 20.

SHS Parents/Guardians,

Many of you have asked for this program after seeing it advertised at other area high schools and now it’s coming to us: Accident Avoidance Workshops, a AAA Approved Driving School!

If your child has taken driver’s ed they can still benefit from this program. Any age driver, with a permit or license, can enroll. At least one parent/guardian must attend but both parents can attend, if interested. All who complete the program will receive a Defensive Driving Certificate and this could help drop your insurance rates!

Here’s a taste of what to expect: “Sometimes serious but always humorous, this 8-hour, hands-on, one-of-a-kind, parent-participation program is done in your own car, and focuses on EMERGENCY DRIVING CONDITIONS. We show your student what kinds of emergencies can happen … let them experience first-hand how fast they happen and train them how to react and what to do when they do happen!”

Make plans now to attend with your child!

When and where will it be? The entire program will be held right here at Sprayberry High School!
3-hour Classroom session (all registered attend): Tuesday, February 28th, 6:24 to 9:54 p.m.
