Sprayberry High School PTSA

Join PTSA Today!

Dear Parents, Staff and Students,

We may be starting the school year virtually but we are all in this together and your PTSA is still here to support you!

Our largest fundraiser, our annual Arts & Crafts Show in November, is likely to be cancelled due to COVID-19 so we are counting on your membership support now more than ever! Becoming an SHS PTSA member is easy and it only costs $5/member. Some of these funds go towards the administrative costs we must submit to the East Cobb Council of PTAs as well as Georgia PTA. The rest stays here at our school and allows us, in addition to Craft Show funds, to support different events and academic needs around the school. Without the Craft Show funds, we will be exploring new fundraising opportunities such as selling masks with Sprayberry logo, but we also need you! For our class of 2021, we still plan on awarding student scholarships this year, so make sure you join PTSA too!

We are unable to hold our in-person membership drives this year so please join online by going here: http://sprayberryptsa.org/join-ptsa-online/

Please encourage freshman and families who are new to SHS to sign up for our weekly e-newsletter. This will help keep them informed of SHS events and news. They can subscribe right here on our main page – look for the sign up box right under on logo on the right hand side of the page.

We appreciate your support and we look forward to the time we can see you in person! For general inquiries, reach out to us at sprayberryptsa@gmail.com.

2020-2021 School Year

Thank YOU!

Thank YOU!
Thank you to our 2019-2020 SY members! We were able to fund many projects at SHS due to your support and your patronage of our annual Arts & Crafts Show.
Here are the highlights of what we funded this year:
-$10,000 in senior scholarships
-$3,879 in teacher grants
-$3,000 in AP test scholarships to our students
-$1500 to fund Shop with a Yellow Jacket
-$785 for Welcome Back Luncheon for staff in July 2019
-$200 for teacher retirement gifts
There were many events that we typically fund that were not held this year due to COVID-19: Art Show, Senior Breakfast, Honors and Awards Night, End-of-Year Teacher Appreciation Lunch, Spruce Up Sprayberry, just to name a few. We hope those events resume in 2021.
