Mountain View Arts Alliance PAID Internship

We are currently looking for a qualified individual for the Mountain View Arts Alliance Summer Internship Program! High school juniors, seniors, and college students pursuing Arts as a major are welcome to apply. This PAID eight-week internship will last from late May through the end of July. Interns will be involved in many of our summer programs such as Cabaret Camp and the Make Your Mark elementary camps. This a a great opportunity to learn about working in the arts. Cobb Youth Leadership Program
The Cobb Chamber of Commerce’s is now accepting applications for next year’s class of Cobb Youth Leadership.  The program features monthly meetings which focus on different aspects of the Cobb County community (health, politics, public safety, entertainment, etc.) while developing leadership skills through interactive participation. The chamber is seeking driven, ambitious, and creative students to participate starting in August 2018.  To be eligible for the program, all students must be entering into their 11th grade year in high school (current sophomores).  Eligible students can click here to access the online application. We are asking all students to apply online to help ensure all information is correct and unaltered. The deadline for applications is Friday, April 13thShould you have any questions, please feel free to contact Katie Guice, Cobb Chamber Senior Manager, Events and Programs at kguice@cobbchamber.org or  770-859-2334.

AP Practice Exams – FREE at Milton Library
The Milton Library Branch in Fulton County will offer FREE AP Practice Exam tests in different subject matters beginning in March. Dates are also available in April. Go HERE to view the flyer.

Up Next is a FREE college access tool that gives high school and college students, parents, and college counselors across the country personalized support on all things college – college search and application, federal student aid, even student loan repayment – all through texting. Learn How to Become
Learn more about non-traditional careers for women including opportunities and benefits for women in male-dominated professions. You can learn more at the Learn How to Become website by visiting the non-traditional careers for women page.
Male and Female students interested in various careers can go to the Learn How to Become website to learn how to turn your passion into a career or how to take your interests and turn it into a job.

Khan Academy offers study assistance with a variety of subjects but did you know they also offer college resources? They offer an online resource that covers how to navigate the college application process, how to write a great essay, financial aid, and more.

Chegg offers information on colleges, high school homework help (free 30 minutes online tutoring), and once you get into college you can save on your college textbooks.

Cappex offers college searches, reviews by those who have attended, and college scholarships.
