If you are interested in becoming an electrician after high school, click HERE.
Electricians make excellent money and this is a great opportunity for any 18 year old that wants to be an electrician within a few short years. You will start out as an apprentice and work your way up to a master electrician.

Small Group Opportunities
Anxiety & Stress Group: Are you experiencing anxiety or stress? Please come and join us virtually for a small group to teach you better coping skills for dealing with anxiety and/or stress. Small groups will be offered Wednesdays from 10:30 AM to 11:20 AM via Zoom. Please fill out the Google form if you are interested.

Seniors: Virtual College Visits
There are several virtual college visits coming up, this week and next week. Sign up through Naviance.
2020 Virtual Peach State Tour:
Join Georgia State, Georgia Tech, and UGA online for this year’s Virtual Peach State Tour! The tour will provide info sessions for students, high school counselors, and school groups from August 24th-September 21st. Register at www.peachstatetour.org.
Common Market:
- The Southern Regional Education Board Academic Common Market provides tuition discounts for more than 1900 academic programs in Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.
- The Regional Contract Program enables students to pursue a professional health degree at out-of-state institutions, but pay in-state tuition at public institutions or reduced tuition at private institutions.

Khan Academy offers study assistance with a variety of subjects but did you know they also offer college resources? They offer an online resource that covers how to navigate the college application process, how to write a great essay, financial aid, and more.
Chegg offers information on colleges, high school homework help (free 30 minutes online tutoring), and once you get into college you can save on your college textbooks.
Cappex offers college searches, reviews by those who have attended, and college scholarships.
