Welcome to the College & Scholarship information page. Here we’ll share scholarship opportunities as well as college fairs, summer programs, and college preview dates. Check back often!

Instant Acceptance!
KSU will host an instant decision event on Monday, 4/22, from 9am-Noon. Stop by the Counseling Office this week to schedule an appt. and meet with admissions counselor to determine if you can be admitted instantly.

Free SAT/ACT Practice Tests
Applerouth is offering FREE practice tests for ACT and SAT on April 27th and 28th. Student will receive a detailed score report that highlights strengths and areas for growth. You must register to reserve your spot. Go HERE to sign up and for more information.

Come out to learn more about the FREE high school dual enrollment program at Chattahoochee Tech were you can earn high school and college credits. Open to 8th-12th graders.

College & Career Exploration Information

2019 Academy for Future Teachers
3-week summer STEM program for high school students on the campus of Georgia State University.
June 3-21, 8am-1:15pm, Monday-Friday

Harvard Diversity Project
The program seeks talented high school students from metro Atlanta to participate in 10 months of training that culminates in a Harvard residency, where students learn academic debate skills. Applications to the Harvard Diversity Project are being accepted through April 30. An academic transcript and a letter of recommendation is required to apply for the program, and a grade point average of 3.0 is preferred. Students who apply need to be rising eighth through 11th graders.  The program is free to students who demonstrate financial need, and other students pay a fee based on a sliding scale according to household income. Male and Female students interested in various careers can go to the Learn How to Become website to learn how to turn your passion into a career or how to take your interests and turn it into a job.

Khan Academy offers study assistance with a variety of subjects but did you know they also offer college resources? They offer an online resource that covers how to navigate the college application process, how to write a great essay, financial aid, and more.

Chegg offers information on colleges, high school homework help (free 30 minutes online tutoring), and once you get into college you can save on your college textbooks.

Cappex offers college searches, reviews by those who have attended, and college scholarships.
