Student Service Opportunities

Sprayberry encourages our students to be involved in their community.  In order to make it easier for you to find community service activities and earn hours for club and graduation requirements, we have created a centralized location where you can get information and sign up for these activities.

Spruce Up Sprayberry
March 24
Meet in the cafeteria. Open to all students who’d like to volunteer and community service hours will be DOUBLED! Check with Ms. Brown (Room 304) if you have any questions. Bring gloves! Go here to view the flyer and the QR code for sign ups.

Daniell PTSA 1st Annual Craft Show
Daniell Middle School PTSA is hosting their first annual Craft Show! They are in need of student volunteers to assist them. They need help from Friday, March 23rd through Saturday, March 24th. If you can help, go here to sign up (shifts are available from early morning through evening hours).

Bells Ferry Elementary Yard Sale
Saturday, April 14th, 8am-Noon (volunteers needed from 7AM on)
They need student assistance in the following areas:
Setting up a station for pastries and drinks for sale
Accepting items for donation to be sold
Working the table to sell donation items
Possibly holding signs that direct passersby to the sale at the school and even at the Publix across the street and any other tasks that may come up.

Walk for Babies
March of Dimes needs volunteers to work various stations.
Saturday, April 28th – Marietta

  • Background Check
  • Must be at least 16
  • Arrive by 7am, end time will be early afternoon

Sewell Mill Library and Cultural Center

The Sewell Mill Library and Cultural Center just opened and they are looking for volunteers! This isn’t your typical library, there are spaces for musical, theatrical performances as well as other creative spaces. They have Teen Volunteer Orientation on February 5th beginning at 3:30 and ending at 6:00 p.m. so find a time that works for you to talk to them about the various opportunities.
